When mini enthusiast Stevie Mann enquired about vehicle tracking to help with his charity mini drive, Yes Vehicle Tracking didn't hesitate to offer their support.

Yes have installed a free tracking unit into Stevie's 1987 998cc mini which he intends to drive 4,279 miles over 41 days around the UK on the 1st September 2009. Stevie will be visiting 165 lifeboat stations, and joined with other mini enthusiasts will help raise money for a new lifeboat to be named "Mini 1".

Viewers can log onto Yes Vehicle Tracking's online software to see Stevie's progress as he takes the coastal route around the UK. Each lifeboat station has been mapped with a marker known as a pin, users will be able to see how close he is to the next Lifeboat station on his route.

Stevie commented, "Yes vehicle tracking was fitted on the 14th August 2009 by a professional auto electrician. The installation was quick and trouble free. I decided to have the unit visible for others to see just how small and unintrusive these units are. There are many benefits from have tracking on your mini, my main reasons where that people could follow the progress of the mini on the run via the internet and if something went wrong people could look up the mini's whereabouts."

Details about the charity drive can be found on Stevie's site at www.mini-rnli.co.uk
